The Scarpette Collection - Sculptural transformation in Limited Edition

This limited-edition collection, crafted with intention and artistry, emerges from my ongoing Scarpette project. As both artist and designer, I draw inspiration from Arte Povera and the work of Marisa Merz, who embraced raw materials and organic forms. At the heart of each piece is the “magic circle”—a symbolic starting point in my crocheting technique, forming the foundation of Scarpette.

In this collection, copper wire takes center stage, embodying the envisioned form of Scarpette and bringing a grounded yet refined beauty to each wearable sculpture. From intricately crocheted yarn to structured copper hangers, the pieces balance lightness with resilience, inviting an experience that is both subtle and expressive.

With only 12 unique pieces, this collection offers a rare opportunity to own an object that holds a distinct place in a larger creative journey. Each item is individually numbered, while “special” copper pieces add an extra layer of collectible distinction. Through diverse colors and forms—circles, stars, and tones like Rainy Day and Lead Green—the collection tells a story of creative exploration and the timeless beauty of handmade art.
